Second Story Courtyard Access

Some courtyards serve as access and entry for both single and two story dwellings. And while most courtyard patios, even two story, are small areas, there isn't generally enough space for traditional type of stairs. Second story access in small enclosed gardens generally uses steps or stairs that switch back and forth to make the best use of space.
