Bird Bath

A birdbath is generally welcome in most any landscaping or garden design.

Naturally, bird baths are focal points in themselves and are even more so if they're any variation of white. Remember, anything white in a garden is a natural focal point in the design. So placement should be an important consideration and not a mix match. The eye will naturally be drawn toward it.

Placement can be relative to the style of design you choose. In most landscaping design ideas, anything but center and off the beaten path is my favorite placement. Center seems to give the feel of a formal garden.

Also, you can add a sense of mystery and depth by an obscure or partially hidden placement. A bird bath in a corner behind a garden path looks great and also takes up a good amount of space to design. Behind a stand of trees also creates a lot of interest.
