Most of us have probably seen whiskey barrels used as garden planters or in container gardens. Most common are those that are cut in half while some are left whole and upright like this barrel planter. Like a lot of other elements, an old barrel like this may not work well in all garden styles. However, in a rustic garden or placed among a group of barrel planters, it may be the perfect addition.
