It was hard to decide if this should be in garden planting ideas rather than here in garden decor. So eventually it will be in both.
A decorative area like this could be a focal point in most any garden or landscape. Simply keep it in perspective according to the size of garden. A smaller garden would require smaller pots, less area, and fewer plants and rocks.
Shape can be related to the garden shape and size and doesn't necessarily have to resemble this design. The triad of planter pots is a good example of plantings being more appealing as an odd number. And lastly, the color white is a natural focal point.
