Lawn Path Walkway
What makes this lawn path different is that it is a consistant element that intersects two other elements in this backyard landscaping idea. Where the lawn and gravel bed meet, they share a common feature that ties the whole landscape together.
As I've pointed out in other path pictures in this directory, this type of walkway is so simple to add to your landscaping plans. And as with this one, the larger the step stones you use, the easier it is to design and build. Simply lay out the stones where you want them, trace around them with a knife or spade, remove the lawn grass, and replace it with the step stone.
