Landscaping a steep slope or hillside can be quite a challenge for most homeowners. Other than using deep rooted plants, rock walls, retaining walls, and decks to create terraces, most folks don't have any idea of what to do with them.

Erosion control on steep slopes and hillsides is usually addressed in the same manner as nature would do. With plants and possibly rocks.
