We just had a new pug puppy in the last few months and are just crazy about him. Madison is her name and she is nine weeks old. However breaking her in is causing us some troubles

It is not unusual for pugs to have days that they do actual good and then its like she is mad at us for something and that is how she is getting back at us You should see what she looks like when we both have to leave to go to work, she has such a long face on her.

Our pug likes to be a bit of a diva and shouts to beat the band when she sees my husband putting on his coat and hat and heading for the door. Our little dog needs attention 24/7 and she knows that the puppy pad is the place to get it, so if she wants our commendation she waddles over to it as quickly as possible

We are doing everything we are suppose to do to assist in this procedure. Then there are days like yesterday where she won't go to the door or the puppy pad .On certain occasions we take her out and she does nothing and waits until she comes back inside, but since we love her so much we just smile and accept it, we know we will sort it out at some stage, we know it isn't her fault but probably our training methods which are useless.

Our local veterinarian told us that pug dogs can have issues with lice and we hoped he would be able to untangle the secret. Her diet has remained the same since the day we got her and she never gets tidbits as a friend of mine said that was the pip thing to do

I thought I came across an article recently that claimed that pug puppies are infamous for forgetting everything they have taught. She gets to go outside every 2 hours or so no matter how much water she has consumed . She copes to last eight to ten hours depending on how long she naps for, I was leaving the door open so she could get out to use the bathroom of the night on her pad but that didn't work .She wasn't utilizing the pad she was using everything else including my husbands sock -- he was not happy

We never raise our voices at her just simply take her out and tell her to go on the grass. How can we fix this confusion. Should we just choose between the pad and outside or will that frustrate her even more. What have we done to make her backslide back to square one.We desperately need your aid.I don't want to consider myself a failure but it is looking like that at the moment.
