In this example you can see how we created continuity to connect both sides of the sidewalk together. (More on this design below)

You can see here how the color and rock scheme follow the same line from one side of the sidewalk to the other. This creates a continuity that would be if the sidewalk was not there.

Compared to the landscapes in the background, you can see that this garden, even without plants, is still interesting in Winter and Fall.
