Small Gardens Landscape
Design Idea
This is one of my first and still favorite small gardens designs. These landscaping ideas are set in a perfect square area. Square areas are generally pretty easy to create a simple balanced display.

The simple idea behind this design is of a necessary nature. The sidewalks are necessary pathways from the street to the home and the rest of the landscaping design is simply created around it. A lot of times a design is just that easy. Of course there is a little thought and creativity in there. The curves add a sense of flow, motion, and appeal. Also see: Landscape Planning.
Planting ideas are very simple and repetitive of only a few varieties of plants. The small specimen tree in the background has a purpose of creating height, seperation, and a focal point.
