Creating A Radius In Landscape Design
In these photos we show to use a pivot, string, and a marking tool to create a large compass. With this tool and the measurements and coordinates from your drawn design, you can transfer your curves and circles from paper to the ground.

In the first picture we've found the coordinate for our pivot and placed a simple screwdriver in the ground. Then we loosly tied a string to the pivot and to our paint gun at the distance specified. Perfect curves. In the second photo Alvin shows that you can use a stick or almost any object as your marking tool. Then you can use a regular spray paint to define the lines.
