Courtyard Patio Entrance Arches

I just thought this view and garden entryway is really cool and old world. This is actually from the covered patio directly outside the master bedroom.

As we finish the waterfall in the backyard, it will also be visible through the large gates at the far end. That could be considered as borrowed scenery. It's not actually part of this patio but we'll use it to compliment it.

As a free standing element or like this one being part of the home and patio, garden arches and arbors can serve as focal points, entryways, dividers, or simply garden decor. Depending on the size of the area and the atmosphere you want to create, arches and arbors can serve many different purposes.
