Japanese Influence Patio Idea
A not quite Japanese garden patio idea. The screening wall is of Japanese architecture and so adds some influence to this patio idea. And while it does suggest a hint of Japan, the garden still lacks influence and has some of the wrong influences. Change the furniture, add a stone lantern, and add a few more of the right garden plants, and this small patio garden would change a lot.
While this patio looks good, following a theme can make it look better. And while it certainly is no written principle or rule, landscape and garden design can be a whole lot easier to create garden plans for if you follow a theme or have some obvious definition to its different areas or rooms.
