Primitive Flagstone Patio Floor
This small patio fits well with its surroundings and would be so easy to create. The flagstone pieces in the floor are just randomly laid out without any cuts so patio ideas like this wouldn't even need a saw. Just level the area, lay out your flagstones, and then fill in the cracks with gravel, chat, or even fine bark mulch. The border edge around the patio is a simple matter of marking a circle, digging a small trench, placing pieces of flagstone upright, and filling in.
The garden path and steps are also very primitive and work well with the surrounding natural woodsy area. A few simple additions to an existing landscape like this can become part of the area rather than toally eliminate the natural element. Landscaping and garden design total costs and labor can often be cut back considerably if your landscaping plans work with the environment and existing surroundings.
