Patio Living Area

A patio that's meant to be lived in. Generally the furnishings placed on patios will give an indication to its purpose and the extent it will be used. The way that this patio is furnished and decor used shows that it is designed to be lived in at all times of the day.

Patios, courtyards, and enclosed gardens often give an opportunity to use color in a different way to create atmosphere. Most garden design and landscaping creates color atmosphere through plants and even some hardscape elements like garden walls or building structures.
