Desert Landscape Riverbed For Drainage

Most dry riverbeds in xeriscape landscaping and desert southwest landscaping are for looks and curb appeal. Still, there are some like this one that are created for drainage and to channel flood water. The water that flows through this area use to erode away the soil and plants. Now the area is protected from erosion with a layer of landscaping fabric covered with rocks and gravel.
