Woodland Garden Path
This woodland garden path idea uses alternating sizes of step stones to create the walkway. And while this adds some interest to the garden or landscape, it may not be the most practical surface for garden paths that get a lot of traffic. Just looking at this, it's obvious that it would be difficult and uncomfortable to walk on.
There are a few things that may make adding this woodland path to your garden plans a little more travel friendly. Adding a mulch or groundcover between the stones or burying them to almost ground level would create a much more level surface for walking on.
