Connecticut Botanical Society - The Connecticut Botanical Society is open to anyone interested in plants, conservation, and natural history. Non-members are welcome to attend our field trips and meetings before joining. Along with these programs, you'll find a great plant identification database as well as many other resources on their website to help you create great landscaping ideas of your own.

University of Connecticut Home &Garden Education Center: Wildflower Meadows - This page offers some useful advice on how you can make your own wildflower meadow. From choosing the right species of plants to maintenance tips for when you've established your meadow, you're sure to find some good information to help with your large landscape or small garden wildflower project.

National Wildlife Federation: Top Ten Native Plants for the Northeast - On this site, you will find a list of the top ten native plants for the Northeast, including the state of Connecticut. In order to help with any landscaping project you might have in mind, each plant has a short description along with a link to an individual page where you will find more detailed information about the plant and what it requires to thrive.
