About Waterfalls In Front Yards

Water garden designs aren't always a good addition for a front yard

The front yard landscape isn't usually the best place for a waterfall or water feature. Though it's hard to see, this yard does have a large waterfall as a main feature and focal point. While it may be a common sight in some areas, it's not the most practical spot to place one.

Generally, waterfalls and ponds are created for a relaxing atmosphere in areas where they can be enjoyed. Usually in a backyard, courtyard, patio, or garden. While this pond does provide some unique curb appeal to this home, It's very unlikely that it will become a favorite area for relaxing and gathering.
