Swimming Pool Surrounded By Lawn

It isn't very common to see this type of landscaping around a pool where there is no decking and the lawn comes directly against the swimming area. While this would surely be cool on the feet, it could be a maintenance nightmare mainly due to the lawn and bare ground.

It would take extra special care to keep lawn clippings out of the pool when mowing and trimming, simply walking to the pool would require that you clean your feet of grass clipping and debri before entering, and water splashed outside the pool has nowhere to go except to making mud puddles.
