The Florida Native Plant Society - The purpose of the Florida Native Plant Society is to promote the preservation, conservation, and restoration of the native plants and native plant communities of Florida. To accomplish this, the society provides a number of programs and resources to help individuals with landscaping and small garden needs.

Florida-friendly Plant Database - This site is designed to help you identify the Florida-friendly plants, including Florida native plants, that will work in your front or backyard. The database contains nearly 380 trees, palms, shrubs, flowers, groundcovers, grasses and vines that are recommended by University of Florida/IFAS horticulture experts. To make your search for the right plant easy, the database is searchable based on region and plant type.
